This approach helped them apply their learning in real-life situations. By combining these popular media into the learning process, the program tries to make English language learning more enjoyable and appropriate to students’ interests.

First the teacher shared an interactive quiz namely Kahoot. When playing the quiz, the students showed their high-level interest. The next activity was watching the video of songs. They shared their favourite songs and discussed the stories with their classmates. Besides, they also submitted their answers and the link of the YouTube they watched in a Padlet. Prof. Ju Seong Lee and Dr. Nur Arifah Drajati also conducted interviews with several students to get the students’ experiences and opinion about the program and its impact on their English language skills.
